Victory Learning Center provides a wide range of services tailored to the needs of your child. We offer several different types of cognitive training, along with a balanced method of instruction and tutoring in this area, geared to enhancing both mind and body.
PACE (Processing and Cognitive Enhancement) - this program is done in-office and is a 36-session course done typically in 12 weeks (3 sessions a week) and uses highly advanced methods of coginitive training to shore up deficient underlying cogitive skills such as memory, processing speed, auditory analysis, and logic and reasoning. PACE also uses motor skills combined with brain function to achieve superior results in just 12 weeks.
SAMONAS Auditory Training - This program, done at home on client's own time, combines state-of-the-art technology in auditory training CD's and equipment with revolutionary research in the area of auditory learning deficiencies. Developed by Ingo Steinbach, a German scientist with a background in music, physics and electrical/sound engineering, it uses the "spectral activation" process, "which intensifies classical music and nature's most dynamic sounds...to stimulate parts of the brain associated with physical and mental well-being." Steinbach's program is widely used in hospitals, schools and learning centers in more that 15 countries.
Belgau Balametrics - this program utilizes motion and balance to incorporate a mind/body integration; it involves balance beams, mini-trampoline, body balls, baseballs, and other exercise equipment.
Brain Gym - program that readies the brain to learn; drinking water is an essential ingredient. It also uses physical stretching/exercising, and such categories as midline movements (incorporating both left and right brain), energy exercises (for planning, organization and lining things up), and lengthening activities for focusing, understanding, and particiaption. Brain Gym exercises usually open our PACE sessions, and are typically followed by Power Walking or Inifinity Walking, another right/left brain integration exercise.
Write Brain/
Train the Brain - This is a multi-sensory program incorporating music and handwriting to acheive brain integration and organization.
Reflex Activities - These are therapeutic exercises to help integrate reflexes and work to calm and center.
